I GOT THIS SHIT

so at first i was nervous and english one scared me but i got this shit 4.0 baby and i work 40 hours a week

i've always been about that soldier shit and anything worth accomplishing isn't gonna be easy, i get up early to study before work and im up late but one thing im sure of Joe Powers is gonna suprise some folks

and simply smile at those who ever had their doubts

im treating my education and my future the same way i went about learning how to cook dope i want to be the best, top of the class in every class, well except maybe math

going to college has really opened my mind to alot of possibilities for my future

MIKE KINDA SUPRISED ME

so the other night we were talking about wisdom and mike said he saw me as being a person with a lot of wisdom then he looked at my mom and sais maybe even more so than you debbie, anyways it really made my day cause me and mike has had a rough past but we have grown pretty close here lately well back to the books

so i made it through my first week of school

so i made it through week number one and i can do this 4.0 baby

my english comp one is a lil tough but it is really making me think and study and learn and isnt that what college is supposed to do

SOME ONE I USED TO KNOW

so i ran into someone i used to know she used to be a waitress at the red dog, we were both pretty strung out at the time but now we are both clean she is starting her 4th semester of college and when i asked her out she said no cause she had to change her peiople places and things but she was still showing me where my classes are so i had a little more time to flirt, any ways i turned her no into a maybe and i think she was waiting for me to give her my number or ask for hers but i just said it was really a pleasure seeing you again and walked away but she works in the office of my school so im just gonna kind of play it casual, but i could definatly see myself with her but that would probably mean i would have to quit smoking pot any ways maybe its about time

i start in less than a week

so school starts next wendsday and im so nervous i went and got my books yesterday 400 dollars for my books this semester, my second semester sociology book is criminology i think that will be a cool class. its about time i got my shit together.well i better be getting ready for work peace

so i get my college books next week i truly can not wait, i think that it will be quite an accomplishment to go from a high school drop out to a college graduate with a 4.0 g.p.a

but in a lot of ways it is real good to be single, i mean i work alot school is getting ready to start, plus when the time is right God will reveal the woman i'm meant to be with, a woman truly capable of loving me in the same way i love her so until i write again God bless you all

well today is jan 5 2008, my brother turns 31 from the shadows of the here after this time last year, a true year from today my family had to rescue me from myself and a whore who had been destroying me for a year. i lost 50 thousand dollars 1-4-07 and laughed it off as nothing.

september 11 2007, i lost my soldier, my brother, one of my best friends see and i haven't laughed quite the same since

i give very few people my true friendship but jay still has it, i have not wrote in a while but i had to honor my soldier on the aniversiary of his birth
